Question 1
Humans like to know what the rules are in life. Whether it is to stay within the lines or to bend the rules, we like to know the boundaries. In Christianity, the problem becomes when we focus on 'following the rules' instead of cultivating a relationship with Christ. Why does Paul say that a relationship with Christ is "infinitely more valuable" than trying to fulfill the law (which he says in worthless)?

Question 2
Our hope and confidence for salvation comes from Christ alone, never our own strength or works. The reality is that if we try to 'measure up' to the standard for righteousness, we will always fail. What does it mean to have confidence in Christ vs confidence in ourselves?

Question 3
We tend to accept that Jesus is the answer for our eternal salvation, but struggle to let Jesus be the answer for our daily lives? It is easy to say 'I am forgiven because of my faith in God' but how often do we say 'I am righteous because of my faith in God'? What does it look like to let Christ be the catalyst for transformation in our lives instead of trying to follow the rules?
