Bible Study Questions
The name “Mighty God” in the original Hebrew is “El Gibbor” (the Strong One, the God of Might).
Where do you see God showing his might as El Gibbor in the Old Testament?
Where do you see Jesus showing his might as El Gibbor in the gospels?
Where have you seen God showing his might in your life?
Gesenius, the German Biblical scholar, renders this term “El Gibbor” as “Mighty Hero”.  (See   Zeph 3:17, especially God’s Word Translation)  Can you relate to that?  In what areas of your life can you allow this Mighty Hero to save you?
Romans 10:9-10 says “That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.”
Have you confessed with your mouth and believed in your heart that this Mighty Hero can save you?

My mom used to call me Snuggle Bunny, as you can assume I was a cuddly kid. She still signs all my cards with “I love you SB”.
