Leading For God

Passage: Exodus 14
Service Type:

Moses is a person that seems larger than life – his accomplishments, leadership, power, and prestige. When we read about him, we often focus on his triumphs. But we can also see his weakness and failures. Moses often doubted his ability to know what to do in the midst of the storm, but he trusted God to lead him. Join us as we look at the life of one of the greatest figures in the Old Testament in our new sermon series Moses: Following God Into the Unknown.

Study Guide Questions

We encourage you to spend some time with God this week and go a bit deeper on this topic. Please consider these study questions for further reflection:

Have you ever considered that the purpose of your life - your “chief end” - is to glorify God and enjoy God forever? How does that word “enjoy” change how you think about bringing God glory?

Read Philippians 1:9-11. What does this passage say about how God is glorified?

Ask God to open your eyes to areas in you have not looked to glorify God, and help you to make needed changes.
