Hope
Bible Text: Luke 21:25-36 | Speaker: Kelly Smith | Series: Advent | The arrival of Jesus is the answer to our deepest longings in life – joy, hope, peace, and love. God’s gift to us is the presence of these four things through the life of Jesus. We can celebrate Jesus’s arrival, and eventual return, by considering the ways in which Jesus provides a way for a deep, personal relationship with our Creator. Join us this Advent season as we celebrate the greatest gift we’ve ever received – Jesus Christ!

Question to ask:
When we think of Jesus Christ coming to Earth to save us, one of the great gifts we receive is the confident hope of God’s love for us. It is a hope that carries us through the waiting, that helps us go the distance, and that will never disappoint because it comes from God. Are you placing your hope in the things of this world (money, family, government, etc) or the things we cannot see (God’s perfect love and salvation)? How can you place your hope more fully in Christ?
