Speaker:
Series:
Passage: Lamenations 3:37-42

In the book of Lamentations, we find the admission of sin, the need for repentance, the value of lament, and the reality of hope, all resting on the foundation of faith in the righteousness of God. Join us as we unearth gems of trust and hope from the rubble of wholesale tragedy in our current teaching series.

We encourage you to spend some time with God this week and go a bit deeper on this topic. Please consider these study questions for further reflection:
Question 1
Is there an area of your life with incomplete repentance? What steps can you take right now to move toward a more complete repentance? How can you take a step of trust toward God today?
Question 2
How does your view of God's sovereignty inform your understanding of life circumstances? Does this or might this now influence how you react to today's circumstances?
Question 3
Consider Psalm 139:23-24. Pray those words for yourself, inviting God in a careful search of your heart. Then, spend some time in silence listening to see what God will show you.
Scriptures to focus on: Lamentations 3:37-41, 5:19-22; Psalm 139
