We encourage you to spend some time with God this week and go a bit deeper on this topic. Please consider these study questions for further reflection:

Question 1
Desiring communion with God is simply wanting a deeper relationship and to spend more time with him. It is trying to know him more so that we may imitate him more in our life as we follow him. What are some ways that you can know God on a more personal level in your life?
Question 2
Is Psalm 27:1-14 we see a picture of the author singing in confidence about God's greatness and then lamenting, or speaking out the soul crushing weight, of the troubles they faced. Yet still, they knew the answer to their struggles was spending more time with God. When life seems to be kicking you down, where do you turn to for relief? Is it to God?
Question 3
In Psalm 27:7-8 the author calls out for God to hear their prayer. But even as they call out, they recognize that God first calls us to come and talk. The Lord is always the one who is inviting us into communion with him. He is just waiting for us to respond. How will you respond to Jesus' call of 'Follow Me'?
