Church At Home
Today, on December 28, we are inviting our church family to participate in Church at Home. There will be no in-person services on Sunday. Our regular Sunday Service schedule will resume on JAN 4 with services at 9am & 10:30am.
This is a chance for you to worship, pray, read scripture, learn, and reflect on God’s word in a different setting or routine during this holiday weekend. We are also grateful for the opportunity this allows for our faithful team of volunteers to have a much needed break after a busy season.
SCRIPTURE & TEACHING
We invite you to watch our previously recorded teaching provided above.
Key Scripture: John 15:1-5 and Isaiah 30:15
Reflective Practice:
-
Where and when can you grab some time to enjoy the long hug with the Lord? Can you do it right now? If now doesn’t work, make a plan. Can it be tonight? Can you get up a little earlier tomorrow?
-
If you’re not sure what to do during that time, try this:
-
Get in a comfortable position, and take 3 deep breaths. (This is scientifically proven to slow down the heart rate, and put us in a more calm state of being.)
-
Invite the Lord to be present with you, and to help you be present to Him.
-
Read Psalm 37:7 Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him. (NIV) Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him. (NASB)
-
Read it several times slowly, and ask the Lord to bring to your mind habits in your life that prevent you from resting in the Lord, and ask Him to give you practical ideas for how you can cultivate rhythms of resting in the Lord.
-
WORSHIP
Use the link below or pull up some of your favorite worship songs and spend time praising and worshiping God.

PRAYER
Take time to pray. Bring your thanks and requests to Him and also invite him to reveal Himself to you during this time.
COMMUNITY
One of the blessings of church on Sundays is connecting with other believers. We invite you to share with your family or friends one thing that God revealed to you during your worship, prayer, or reading during Church at Home. This might also be a great day to call someone, have a coffee date, or host a meal in your home!
