What to Expect

What to expect when you walk through the doors of our church.

Home

Our Sunday services are a place for you to feel at home. We strive to create a space for you to connect with God and connect with others. We want you to feel comfortable to come as you are and not feel pressure to look, talk, or dress in a certain way. On Sunday mornings you’ll see some people dressed in jeans and some people wearing ties. You will see people drinking coffee and eating donuts in their seats, children laughing and running around, volunteers welcoming you, and authentic community happening.

Kids

During our Sunday services we encourage families to sit together, sing together, and pray together as this can be a valuable time for parents to model and express their faith for their kids. All kids are dismissed to their GRACE KIDS classes prior to the teaching time during the Sunday service. However, we also understand that sometimes our little ones need room to play and explore, so our Nursery – K spaces are open for the entire service and those children can be check in to their class at any time. School aged kids will return at the end of the service to participate in communion with their families.

Worship

True worship is more than just singing; however, music is a beautiful and creative way for us to express our worship and praise to God. Our music here at Grace Community Church is a blend of modern songs and traditional hymns. With a variety of instruments and vocalists, our worship time on Sundays creates a relaxed atmosphere while encouraging our congregation to sing and respond to the Lord. A normal Sunday morning service includes a time of worship/singing, prayer & announcements, teaching, and we conclude our service taking communion each week.

Teaching

Each Sunday service has a member of our preaching team sharing on a designated topic from the current sermon series. This team collaborates during the week under the direction of the lead pastor as they prepare a sermon to share on Sunday. Our preaching team is made up of men and women from our staff and church leadership who are gifted teachers and communicators.
